We are pleased to inform our networks and community that The Organizing Committee of Beijing International Children’s Film Festival has contacted us to inform you that the “Lisa” cartoon was selected for special BRICS Screenings to be held in the framework of the Festival.
Lisa the cartoon is inspired by Author Nkosazana Mnisi book ‘Lisa and her Mole, An Ambassador of MNF and a creative story teller. The inspiration of the cartoon was to spark young minds and address issues all forms of bullying in school across South Africa. According to Child Line SA is very difficult for children, or anyone, to deal with. It makes you feel afraid and degraded and often it makes a person feel like they are worthless. Unfortunately, bullying also makes you stop wanting to go out because you are scared you might see the person bullying you. (www.childlinesa.org.za)
Project directors Mordecai S. Ndlovu (33) is an Author, Technologist, Social Entrepreneur, Community Activist and Economic Participation Officer with strong commitment to getting communities to ensure youth inclusion in society through hes various initiatives. Nkosazana mnisi age 27 is an author born in south Africa Mpumalanga .she is passionate about challenging education and making it fun .Her first and latest book is is Lisa and her mole in partnership with Mordicai Ndlovu foundation as part of an anti bullying campaign. She is known for creative writing and content creation in childrens book and stories and Fortune.H Maluleke (23) also known as 4tunne is a Graphic Designer, Video Editor, Visual Artist and Game developer based in Mpumalanga (South Africa), He is known for his unique creativity using art and code.
Project powered by the Mordecai Ndlovu Foundation as part of its efforts to talk to issues of Bullying, accepting difference and also allowing children from early age to understand social cohesion. The youth wish to create programs around ‘Lisa’ to address bullying in School.
