Who We Are.
What is the MNF?
“Collaboration is the future of Activism”
– A C T I V A T E L E A D E R S H I P
The Mordecai Ndlovu Foundation (MNF) is a collective of activists and changemakers. It is a transformation tool that brings together and facilitates the work of those within the Gauteng through the organisation of programs and events.
The MNF is on track to become a 100% women-run organisation with gender justice as a key focus area. The tackling of gender based violence and commitment to the advancement of the gender justice agenda of the Republic of South Africa are fundamental to the MNF.
Other focus areas of the organisation include substance abuse, skills development, and youth empowerment.
Substance Abuse is a major community issue. Our focus is to provide assistance and direct individuals towards the correct avenues so they may find rehabilitative support from strategic partners.

- Establish a drug rehabilitation support network initiative that guides individuals through a predetermined rehabilitative pathway.
- Engage in gender justice activism and run community programs that facilitate conversations around gender-based violence and gender justice.
- Establish a creative arts program that runs regularly and provides people of the community with the opportunity to express themselves creatively through visual art, drama, dance.
- Develop Digital Skills training and Wifi solutions to underprivileged youth.
- Work with government to enhance the scope and accessibility of youth empowerment and job readiness programs.
- Draft and finalise our community development strategy document that will exist as a living document to guide the work of the MNF.
